WARNING: THIS PROJECT IS INDEFINITELY POSTPONED.

Various reason brought this project down. The servers are likely dead by the time you read this, though i do intent to revive this project in a year or two, when i am able to give it the attention it deserves.

Perhaps the biggest reason for the shutdown is that it has been overshadowed by another project of mine. Seek AFTER'IMAGE_MAYHEM on my profile.

THIS UNIVERSE INFINITELY BATTLECRUISERS

We are hopeless to stop it. The war is neverending. It is fought with battlecruisers which are the pinnacle of our technology... [[ or perhaps it was never ours to begin with?! ]]

We pretend like we have any power over these war machines. In truth, they control us. They are in charge. They aren't conscious... [[ or perhaps they are?! ]], yet they rule over us, guide us, manipulate us.

We confine them into tiny pieces of plastic in a hopeless attempt of asserting our power over them. They don't seem to mind. They know the truth.

THE BETS ARE INFINITELY HIGH YET WE UP THE ANTE

These battlecruisers are surreal. We like to pretend we know how they work; we study their internals, we write papers and dissertations, we draw blueprints. But i fear the truth is infinitely worse; it's not that we don't understand them yet. It's that they are completely beyond our understanding, as a species.

Each battlecruiser relies on a set of alien technologies which power its systems. Perfectly reliable shielding meshes, perfectly accurate railguns, perfectly powerful boosters. Scarier still? Sometimes one cruiser is not enough to defeat another. The only way to defeat them, is to [[ FOCUS ALL FIREPOWER ]]

We were dealt a terrible hand. I doubt our ability to bluff through this.

THE CYCLE OF VIOLENCE WILL CONTINUE

These battlecruisers are not normal. They do not belong. I suspect this is why the universe is unstable. It rejects them. It resets. Over and over. But they never leave.

They mutate. They adapt. They [[ update their signatures and avoid detection?! ]] Battlecruisers of today are not the battlecruisers of tomorrow. There have been at least 24 cycles. Perhaps more; keeping track of universe-shattering events is complicated. And as i'm writing this, another cycle is imminent. This one is different though. Something is off.

One day, i hope, we will break this cycle.
